Due to Wallonia's exceptional geographical position at the center of the European Union, it is the ideal gateway to a broad European market, and the transport and logistics sector plays a predominant role in the economic landscape. Wallonia has the eighth largest cargo airport in Europe, the second largest inland port in Europe, a number of multi-mode platforms, vast and free flowing highways, and a high density rail network.

The Transport & Logistic Cluster combines local initiatives and serves as a forum for the various businesses in the field, from transport and logistics companies, through administrators of infrastructure and training, to customer firms. More than 4,000 companies are active in this sector.
